Amon Rûdh

Amon Rûdh, also known as Bald Hill was a notable rocky landmark in Beleriand during the First Age. Mîm the Petty-dwarf lived there with his sons and at some point, also did the Gaurwaith or "Wolf-men" outlaws led by Túrin "Neithan" and Beleg Strongbow. It became their hideout while they expelled the orcs and ruled a vast surrounding land, but a few years later, an army sent there by Morgoth defeated them. This is part of an ongoing project in which I imagine some concepts for a fictitious film based on The Children of Húrin, the book written by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien but edited and finished by his son Christopher.
