Interplanetary spaceship tankers cannot harvest the gas from planets by themselves, but instead, work with enormous drones like the Spearhead-type. These are gas scooping, unmanned space shuttles that hover through gas and ice giant planets' upper cloud tops, collecting the raw material and then return to the planets' low orbits to transfer it to such orbiting refineries.
