Húrin's house at Dor-lómin

Dor-lómin was a north-western region in Beleriand, settled by Edain men and ruled by the House of Hador during the First Age. After the Battle of Unnumbered Tears and the following Easterlings' invasion, lord Húrin Thalion's house was still occupied by his family for a few decades and then abandoned, but the invaders did not dare tear it down. I imagine they used its surroundings as a place for executing rebels and traitors. This is part of an ongoing project in which I imagine some concepts for a fictitious film based on The Children of Húrin, the book written by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien but edited and finished by his son Christopher.
